In Unseen, traces of gesture appear and disappear within the painted field. The tension between exposure and concealment gives the work a quiet intensity: a torso poised between stillness and release. The painting breathes secrecy, an invitation to look closer and sense what lies beneath.

Framed in an Oak tray frame, painted in Farrow & Ball Plummett Grey (see final image).
