Music for the Senses Art Trail, Manchester, 7th July - 31st August 2025
A J R Oatts-handpainted guitar will be part of the city-wide Music for the Senses trail of artworks, exhibitions, and installations celebrating the people, places, moments, and instruments that define Manchester’s legendary music scene.

Music for the Senses exhibition, People’s History Museum, Manchester
After the Music for the Senses art trail finishes, all the guitar artworks will be displayed at an exhibition for one weekend only.
Friday 12 September
Music for the Senses auction, Hallé St Peter’s in Ancoats.
The decorated guitars will be auctioned to raise money to support grassroots music projects and venues throughout Greater Manchester, through a dedicated music fund managed by Forever Manchester, in collaboration with Manchester Music City.
